  About NLB InterFinanz AG

Being a niche player, NLBI's activity is directed towards its core markets of South-Eastern and Eastern Europe. Today the company holds diversified portfolio comprising exposure in 18 countries. Our niche countries are: Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, the Baltic states, Belarus, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan, Albania and Uzbekistan as well as the markets of certain countries in Latin America (Mexico, Brazil).

In cooperation with its subsidiaries, NLBI offers a series of financial, products including the purchase or sale of export receivables and instruments without recourse, direct financing of import/export transactions in the form of loans extended to both suppliers and buyers, assumption of specific country risks, pre-export financing, import, export and domestic factoring, silent confirmations, counter-guarantees, financial and commercial intermediation and consulting.

Besides its Head Office in Zurich, NLBI keeps a branch in Ljubljana, two foreign subsidiaries, i.e. in Prague NLB InterFinanz Praha s. r. o. and in Belgrade NLB InterFinanz d.o.o., Beograd, engaged in origination and business promotion. Apart from that, the company keeps representative offices in Frankfurt and Kyiv Ukraine, which serve as acquisition vehicles in such markets.

The familiarity with the specific requirements of individual core markets in which NLBI operates, facilitates its offer of other less standardized products and services that require specific structuring and perhaps a combination of products offered by NLBI.
As of January 2013, NLBI employs 19 people, 8 of those are located in the head-office in Zurich and 3 in its Ljubljana branch, while the remaining employees work in the NLBI subsidiary units.

The company has a Board of Directors composed of reputable Swiss members and three members of Nova Ljubljanska bank's senior managment.

NLBI is a member of
Swiss Forfaiting Association (VEFI) and International
Forfaiting Association (IFA).

It is also member of VQF
a self regulating Swiss money laundering prevention organisation.
Ever since its founding,
NLBI has been audited by internationally reputed auditors and it is also subject to annual internal audit of Nova Ljubljanska Banka as well as regular audits from Bank of Slovenia.
